Joel had several interviews late this week and decided to accept the offer extended by the Park Hill School District. He will be teaching middle school math. It is a wonderful school district and he will be working for a great principal. We here at ladickson.blogspot.com are extremely proud of him. We are also excited that Joel, Kelly, Ruby, and the baby to be named later will be living so close.

Weekend Update- Levi Narrates
We went to visit my Gran and Grandpa over the weekend. They babysat me while my parents went out on a date. I showed them all of my new tricks. It was fun being there while my parents were out but, to keep things interesting, I refused to eat my rice cereal and I threw a little tantrum before going to bed.
This picture is me wearing a sweat suit my Daddy wore when he was little. I think I look good. Maybe I'll be the one to bring 70's exercise-wear back into style.
These are some new p.js my Momma got me. I love being able to get at my toes. They always taste so good.
Here I am on the way to church. I was making my dolphin noises when this picture was taken.

This is the Easter outfit Nana and Papa sent for me. It was finally warm enough for me to wear it. My chubby little legs had their big debut in shorts. Do I know how to wear a hat or what?
I thought Grandpa did a good job in church. The best part was that he mentioned me in his sermon.

Welcome Home
Dear Katie and Ryan,
I was very excited to hear that you were home from the hospital. It's much better at home- no nurses to poke at you and you can get hugs from Jake there.
Hopefully you are adjusting well to life on the outside. If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I'm five months old old now and know A LOT of things: how to roll over, how to (almost) sit up, how to get my whole hand in my mouth, and boy, do I know how to drool.
I'm excited to see you both. We will be able to get into all kinds of trouble together since our moms will be distracted. When they get together they talk and talk and then laugh and laugh and then eat some chocolate and then talk some more.
So drink your milk and get big and strong!
your friend,
Levi
