Happy Anniversary!

Today, Lucas and I celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary.  Thanks to Lynn and Marji for watching the boys so we could spend the day together browsing, shopping, and eating our way through Weston, Missouri.  My heart is bursting full of gratefulness to be married to such an amazing man.  I'm so happy in our life together.

Happy Anniversary! My admiration for you has only grown over the past five years and you continually impress me. Being with you is being home- and even though home is a comfortable place you still regularly surprise and charm me with your big heart and sense of humor. I love you dearly. Three Years

Happy Anniversary!

Today is Tricia and Jer's 10th wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe so much time has gone by yet here they are, 3 kids later, living on another continent, at the end of the first decade of marriage. I feel privileged to have been there at their wedding, wearing my maroon bridesmaid dress, hearing Tricia say, "With all my heart's infection" instead of "With all my heart's affection. " They are a wonderful couple who are really great together.

A Happy Anniversary

Our marriage turned one year old today. We got the top of our wedding cake out of it's storage in our freezer and it still tastes pretty good.

It's hard to believe that 365 days have passed since we gathered with all our family and friends to say our vows and be pronounced 'husband and wife'. It's hard to believe 365 days have passed since the centerpiece caught on fire in the reception hall and the chocolate fountain went berserk and flung chocolate in a 5 foot radius.

We are eagerly anticipating what awaits us in our second year of marriage. There will be lots more adventures to enjoy.
