We've continued to enjoy our visit with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids are just eating up all the extra attention. Here are some pictures from our weekend together.

Flashback Friday- Vernon and Gladys

This picture is of my paternal grandparents on their wedding day in 1952. Grandma and Grandpa Corzine are here right now visiting from Florida and we are really enjoying the time together. The kids are getting lots of extra hugs and kisses.

Happy Birthday, Ben!

Ben turns two on the 20th but we got to celebrate his birthday on Saturday. Luke's colleague hooked us up with tickets for Storytime Live at the Midland Theatre. Look at our plush seats. The kids really enjoyed it. My diplomatic personal reaction: it was like no show I'd seen before.

There were plenty of arms to help hold this wriggley baby.

He is such a sweetie.

Happy Birthday, Little Buddy!

Ben is born!

Hot Air Balloons and Friends

On Friday night we met up with some friends at the Great Midwest Balloon Fest in Overland Park. I know hot air balloons aren't super novel or exciting but I got a big kick out of seeing them fill up and launch.

Levi got to hang out with his friends: Daniel, Micah, Seth, and Colin. Little Daria was also there but she was happy to hang out with her Mom and Dad instead of the wiggly group of pre-school boys.

Eating veggie straws, watching the balloons.

Heather let the boys look at her camera. The pictures in the post above are the ones she took and shared.

The five giggling boys playing a game that is some combination of football and tickle attack.

Gotcha! Levi had a ball.

Fun Foursome

I spent a couple of hours on a rainy morning this week trekking around Crown Center with these kiddos. They managed to change my double stroller into a quadruple stroller.

I was pushing over one hundred pounds of cuteness all over that place. Poor Milo really wanted to be in the back where all the fun was.

Once we hit the skywalk, though, they wanted to RUN.

We had an indoor picnic and watched it rain. Yay for cousins!

New Jammies

Thanks for the new jammies, Nana!

Miles at 6 Months Old

Milo had his 6 month check-up today and got several immunizations as well as a flu shot. Sad!

You can't keep a good man down, though.

He weighs 19#13oz (81%) and is 28.5 inches long (90%). His head circumference is 17.5 inches. All three nurses and the doctor seperately commented on how active and big he was. Yes, I'VE NOTICED.
(At this age, Levi's stats were: 19#7oz, 28", and 17.25".)

Home Again, Home Again

We're back from our week out in New England. Thanks Mom and Dad for the great vacation you gave us! Our travels home today went mostly smoothly. The boys were a handful but enjoyed the adventure of flying.

Flashback Friday

While visiting my parents I enjoyed going through some old scrapbooks and photo albums and scanning some of my findings.

Take a little walk down memory lane with me:

How cute are my brother and sister??

Vacation Cont'd

We're continuing to enjoy our vacation. This morning we went to the beach and this evening Luke and I got to go out on the town while Mom and Dad watched the boys.
