Happy Halloween!

Our little construction worker went trick-or-treating at a few houses this evening. We were still visiting in Leavenworth (after all the birthday festivities) so one of the places he went to was Grandma Dickson's house.
He loves candy!

Pictures of Pairs

Here are a few pictures from the party off of our camera.

A few shots from the week

Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Grandma Dickson's 80th birthday with a lovely reception on Saturday. Lots of family came into town for the event.
Grandma is a part of many clubs and groups and had a huge turn-out for the party.

Almost all of her kids got to be in attendance.

Proud Grandparents!

Our branch of the family tree.

Nathan and Sheralyn took these pictures and many more. Check out the rest of the pictures here.

Happy Birthday, Grandpa

We were in Leavenworth today to celebrate Dad Dickson's birthday with him. It was a lot of fun to be together.

"Hey, Little Cuz, want this toy to chew on?"

"Happy Birthday, Grandpa!"

What a fun bunch.

Lots of drooling going on 'round these parts...

Levi was very sweet with Alison. He brought her toys, tickled her, and sang her songs when she was fussy.

I'm gonna getcha...

TICKLE, TICKLE!

We ate chicken, potatoes, green beans, bread, and cake. The baby just got some squash. He seemed pleasant nonetheless.

Levi gladly assisted in the candle-blowing.

Happy Birthday!

Flashback Friday- Siblings

My brother, Joel. I think he's around 6 here. Doesn't this picture just make you want to travel back in time and squeeze him? No? I guess it's just me. Watch out, brother. Tomorrow when I see you at the soccer game I might squeeze the grown-up version of the little boy in this picture.

Ahh! More cuteness! I remember my little sister, Lea, clearly like this. Now, where did I put that time machine...

Favorite Guys

Among the many things they have in common: blondness, slobberiness, and adorableness.

"I was finally able to pin him, Mama! I can't decide if I'm going to try and gnaw on his nose or wildly pitch to the side and roll off."

"Roll off to the side, it is. Wheeeee!"

Eating dessert with Daddy on our family date night. Yum, pumpkin cookies.

"Yah, I'll take one of those cookies, thanks..."

Grammie and the Boys

Weekend in Hutchinson

We had the pleasure of visiting family in Hutchinson, Kansas this weekend. Grammie was a wonderful host and we all had a great time.

Milo enjoyed getting snuggles from everyone. He returned the favor by slobbering on them.

Meet the world's most serious baby:

Levi enjoyed spending time with with Braeden and AnnMayre. Now that they are getting older it is fun to see them able to play together.
It was great to see Avery, too!

Grammie and Aunt Liz treated us to lunch at a fundraising event at their church. There were pulled pork sandwiches, bierocks, chilli, and a table full of desserts. The kids had a ball climbing on the inflatable playthings.

Milo watched his big brother play on this toy fire engine and could hardly wait to get his drooly little hands on it himself.

Look at him- he has started to try and pull himself up on things. He managed to get his bum up off the floor.

"Uh...I don't know about this, Mama...."

This Darth Vader mask was among the toys at Grammie's house. Levi has been quite enthralled with masks lately. His daddy was trying to teach him to say, "Luke, I am your father." I thought we should teach him to say, "Luke, you are my father." What he ended up saying (repeatedly) instead: "Happy Birthday Luke's father." No, I don't know why.

Aunt Liz had all kinds of cuddles and hugs for the boys. Milo especially was quite at home on her lap.

However, yesterday afternoon, when he was really struggling with his teeth hurting, Milo only had smiles for Uncle Bill.

Thanks, everyone, for your hospitality!
