Happy Halloween!

Is this the cutest giraffe you've ever seen? He caught on quite quickly to the candy-getting concept of Halloween. He also really enjoyed seeing all the other kids out around our neighborhood.
Thanks to Nana for the costume!

Extra Kids

We got to keep Ruby and Ben for a little bit over the weekend and the kids kept us hopping. Here are the oldest loaded up in the wagon. We had Ben in the stroller and walked over to our church for their Harvest Festival on Saturday evening.

Here are the oldest two after bathtime. Ruby very much enjoyed holding him even though they are pretty much the same weight. She is saying, "Auntie, Levi won't let me hold him on my lap anymore!"

Bedtime reading. They are all getting a little sleepy.

Cider

We visited the Louisburg Cider Mill on Sunday afternoon. During this time of year they have live music on the weekend and other fall fun. The weather was beautiful after being quite dreary all week so it was very nice to be out together. They have apple doughnuts and of course cider. The yumminess of it all!! Levi dove right in.
We also introduced him to the wonders of caramel apples. He did not know what to do with it and just licked it at first.

I could not get his attention for anything. He was so intent on watching a puppy to his left that he didn't even hear me trying to get him to look at the camera.

What's the difference between an apple and a pretty girl? One you squeeze to get cider, the other you get side 'er to squeeze.

Here we are watching the doughnuts get made. They came down a little belt during the cooking process and Levi giggled every time a little mechanism flipped them over to cook on the other side. It remains to be seen as to whether he has the family gene predisposing him to process improvement. Odds are good.

"I don't want to go!"

Gran and Grandpa's

We spent some time up in Leavenworth over the weekend while there was a showing going on at our house. Here is Levi building a ladder truck with his Grandpa from a kit his Daddy used to play with. Notice the (ever present) drool droplet on his chin (Levi's, not Lynns.)

Indoor Soccer

Joel, Kelly, and Lucas started playing together on an indoor soccer team. It was a lot of fun to go to the game, though, as designated babysitter I did not get a chance to witness much of the action.

One of the only antidotes to wiggles: fruit snacks
also, stickers.Ruby said, "Watch me, Auntie, I'm kicking just like Mama!"

They were very cute in the minutes they spent watching the game.

Levi and Ruby played soccer between themselves. Well, it was a version of soccer anyway. Ben cheered them on.

Vacation

We just finished up a great week of vacation with the Dickson clan in Branson.
The weather was a bit cool but we still enjoyed plenty of outdoor activities. Mini golf and Non-mini golf included. Levi really enjoyed the mini-golfing. He especially enjoyed feeding his ball down tunnels and ramps.

He had lots of hugs for his Auntie Aundrea.

Here's Levi modeling his new hoodie from Grandpa and Gran.

Twins!

We played lots of games. What's your guess that Luke's doing here? Wii archery.

Check out the matching expressions on the competitors on the couch.

For Levi, life doesn't get much better than hanging out on Daddy's lap with his drill.

Levi was obsessed with Flurry. If she was out of sight he asked about her whereabouts constantly.

Check out my two cute pregnant sister-in-laws!

Reading a new book that Gran bought. Painting! Look how seriously he took the whole thing.

Levi very much enjoyed having so much attention from Auntie Corrine.

Grandma Dickson treated us to a stay at her timeshare and the accomodations were so nice. Levi loved having his run of the place.

They both just had some ice cream- happy boys!

Me and Momma Marji.

Levi wiping up a small spill. As my Mom says, "He's the cleanest dirtiest boy you've ever seen."

On the waterfront. He enjoyed looking at the fountains and boats.
Wearing Grandpa's shoes.
