Much Egg-citement at Gran and Grandpa's House

There was an egg hunt after lunch on Sunday.  Each kiddo had a particular color and the eggs were hidden based on how advanced of a 'finder' the grandchild was.  Here is Charlie and his first eggs.
The weather was beautiful.  It felt really nice to be outside.
Milo's face lit up like this each time he spotted another green egg.
 Yay!
Fun and games inside with Gran.
The boys have been enjoying hard boiled eggs this week.
Not only did Gran and Grandpa host for the weekend and set up an egg hunt, they had Easter baskets for all the kids.  Even the big kids.  Grandma Dickson also brought goodies.

Here is the calm in the eye of the (Easter Basket Opening) storm.

Easter 2014

We spent most of the weekend at Gran and Grandpa's house. They, as usual, were generous hosts and had all kinds of fun in store for the kids.

Don't the boys look sweet in the clothes Nana sent?  (She also picked two brightly colored polo shirts for each.  They wore one set on Palm Sunday and the other for a regular ol' day when I was really behind on laundry and the only other option was the ratty t-shirts they wear to paint in.)

Remember when Levi used to look exactly like Lucas??

This little(big) kid is in an especially sweet phase.

We enjoyed worshipping at Lynn and Marji's church.  Whoever is shepherding that congregation really knows what he's doing.

Trying to get a picture of Grammie with the littles.  Charlie's expression pretty much sums things up.  "I don't think this is going to work, Auntie."

It had been too long since we had seen Grammie.  It was so nice to visit with her.

This is Charlie's first Easter on the outside.

Uncle Vint and Lexie were visiting as well.  The boys had SO much fun playing with her.

CHEEEEEESE

The weather was beautiful and the hammock got a lot of use over the weekend.

Cute baby alert!

It was so fun watching Levi with Charlie.

I see plenty of family resemblance here.

Giggling Boys

These kids make me laugh. These kids make each other laugh, too.

Here they are both in Luke's sleeping bag rolling and rolling.

Spring is here! One neighbor brought this little bouquet to us.
And this was from another neighbor. We so enjoy our cul-de-sac!

Birthday Bike

On his birthday, Milo received his own bike. We had the boys wait in the driveway and Lucas brought it from the backyard around the house. Levi was just as excited as Milo!

It's going to be a fun summer!

Nana and Papa Visit

We had a lot of fun while my parents were here. As usual, we were treated to good food and all sorts of treats.

They got to see Levi play in one of his roller hockey games.

Afterwards we went for Barbeque. While waiting for our food, the kids drew.  This is Ruby's illustration of Levi and a dinosaur.
One morning, the three little boys and I accompanied Nana and Papa while they did some mattress shopping for beds in the lake house.  This happened:
I'm sure the salesmen were excited to see us coming.
Soon they became overcome with exhaustion, though.
The week previous to my parents' visit was filled with lovely spring temperatures in the high 60s.  As soon as their plane from Boston landed the air turned cold.  We even had some snow showers.
As soon as they left town, though, the temperatures rose again.  It's a bit uncanny how often that happens.  They are definitely bringing New England weather with them as they travel.
