Florida- Family Time

Everyone was so excited to see Roebin.

Florida- Getting There

A few weeks ago, we travelled down to Florida along with Joel, Kelly, Ruby, and Ben. It was a long night due to flight delays but the kids were troupers. When we finally arrived at our hotel at 2:30 in the morning, I was grateful that the fun of the night outweighed the stress of the night.

American Girl Doll, Sage, joined us.

It's always a good time with these two.

They were exposed to the Looney Tunes and found it to be hilarious.  I found much to cringe at- for example, an entire sequence where one character chased another around with a huge cleaver.

Kindergarten Fun Run

After Levi's concert, he participated in the school fun run.

It's important to warm up before undertaking a strenuous race.

Milo was very happy to take part.

They are starting to get pretty good at push-ups.

The reason they are getting good is that I make them do 5 push-ups anytime they forget to flush or wash.

Kindergarten Concert

We really enjoyed Levi's end-of-year kindergarten concert last month. He had been practicing his songs as well as his speaking part. There was choreography and lots of cuteness.

The favorite line of all the little boys was in the pirate song when they got to sing, "my booty."

Milo always enjoys our visits to the school.

Cub Scout

As a kindergarten graduate, Levi was old enough to join his local scouts group.  It was something he had been yearning to do for two years now.

This was something that Lucas has been looking forward to as well.  He'll be helping lead the den (pack?  I'm not sure of the lingo, yet.).

Milo also got to attend the camp-out.  He wants to be a cub scout, too. 

Several times, Levi has said, "Mama, do you need any help or do you know if our neighbors need any help?  I'm a cub scout now and cub scouts help people."

Levi is a fourth generation scout!  This is going to be fun.

Lake House

A couple of weeks ago we met up with Joel, Kelly, Ruby, and Ben to enjoy an evening at Mom and Dad's new lake house.  It's going to be a fun summer.

Much Egg-citement at Gran and Grandpa's House

 There was an egg hunt after lunch on Sunday.  Each kiddo had a particular color and the eggs were hidden based on how advanced of a 'finder' the grandchild was.  Here is Charlie and his first eggs.

 The weather was beautiful.  It felt really nice to be outside.

 Milo's face lit up like this each time he spotted another green egg.

 The boys have been enjoying hard boiled eggs this week.

 Not only did Gran and Grandpa host for the weekend and set up an egg hunt, they had Easter baskets for all the kids.  Even the big kids.  Grandma Dickson also brought goodies.
