Little Niece Ruby Comes to Visit

What a great weekend. Joel, Kelly, and Ruby came in from Chicago and it was a very fun time hanging out with them. Ruby has grown so much since her last visit to Kansas City. She was thoroughly entertaining and such a sweet, smart girl to be with.

A few things that make Aunt Amber smile extra big:
-Ruby likes to pick up big and awkward things just for the fun of carrying them around.
-When she smiles really big at us and says, "Hi Auntie, Hi Auntie, Hi Lute, Hi Lute"
-Her dance moves- which include bending at the knee in rhythm and an extra cool spin move.
-Listening to her make the different animal noises. My favorite is the answer to "What's a turkey say?". She says, "Gobby Gobby Gobby!"

- Her fascination with belly buttons

I could go on and on. We're completely smitten.
